PIIMA's participation in Greenbuild 2023, held from September 26-29 in Washington D.C., allowed us to identify trends and new pathways in sustainable building construction, addressing key topics such as decarbonization, resilience, and equity in the built environment. During the event, the launch of LEED Version 5 was highlighted, introducing advancements in areas such as health, natural resource optimization, and biodiversity conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among emerging construction trends, the importance of nature-based solutions and innovation in materials and processes to create more sustainable buildings was emphasized. Additionally, the need to expand and measure ESG initiatives was underscored, ensuring that data is comprehensive and avoids \"greenwashing.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n
