He is a civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the design, management and construction of real estate projects. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Planning Engineering both from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM). In addition, he holds Green Associate accreditations from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and EDGE Expert from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which endorses his experience in the development of sustainable projects. Currently, his focus is on the analysis of projects with the objective of reducing the carbon footprint of the materials used in construction and the certification of assets under sustainability standards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Julio has managed ESG consulting projects with a focus on risk prevention and mitigation that comply with ESG performance assessments of the current market, always aligned to standards and reporting frameworks related to climate change and biodiversity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, he leads initiatives at PIIMA to improve the performance of real estate portfolios and align them with ESG and decarbonization criteria. His comprehensive approach combines the trends required by the sector with regulatory compliance, supporting clients to have more sustainable practices.<\/span><\/p>\n
