María Matamoros from Ámbito Arquitectura y Sostenibilidad and Julio Leal from PIIMA participated in the presentation organized by SUMe and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) on the topic of Integration of Real Estate, Biodiversity, and Certifications for Sustainable Building. This presentation was part of the LEED Innovators 2023 series.

During the presentation, a brief introduction was given on biodiversity and its relationship with the real estate sector, along with a case study on the application of the updated TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures) framework and the future of the relationship between biodiversity, buildings, and construction.
